21st-Century Skills

How Do You Define 21st-Century Skills?

Twenty-first-century learning means that students master content while producing, synthesizing, and evaluating information from a wide variety of subjects and sources with an understanding of and respect for diverse cultures. Students demonstrate the three Rs, but also the three Cs: creativity, communication, and collaboration. They demonstrate digital literacy as well as civic responsibility. Virtual tools and open-source software create border less learning territories for students of all ages, anytime and anywhere.(Barnett Berry)

As a future teacher in 21st Century Skills I need to develop this three learning to help my students achieve the best skills they can get. And as a part of their journey to 21st Century I as their future teacher need to push and help them develop this particular skills Leadership and Responsibility, Productivity and Accountability and most especially the Creativity and Innovation Skills. As I engage students in new, more relevant ways, while calling for innovative approaches to develop necessary creativity and innovation skills. Seeking to improve student performance on standardized performance while increasing student learning. For today's students to succeed tomorrow, they need a comprehensive education that includes responsibility and leadership that we taught them . We must not forget that as we set new learning priorities for our students.

Developing this skills help students to understand more about how important this skills in their lives and how this skills help them in their future.This also help them develop social skills or interacting with new people around them. Develop confidence if you are applying for a new job for example, you would be wise to prepare for the interview. Plan what you would want to say in the interview and think about some of the questions that you may be asked.  Practice your answers with friends or colleagues and gain their feedback.
