At first I'm little bit confuse on webquest but our professor gave us example on how to do it.

                                         DIFFICULT

It is very useful because it help us to be updated when it comes to new technology in the world. It also gave us more information about the lesson and it can be easier to access to other computers. And easier to follow the guide for the lesson.

Web 2.0 Tools

Web 2.0 is about revolutionary new ways of creating, collaborating, editing and sharing user-generated content online. It's also about ease of use. There's no need to download, and teachers and students can master many of these tools in minutes. Technology has never been easier or more accessible to all.

A Web 2.0 website may allow users to interact and collaborate with each other in a social media dialogue as creators of user-generated content in a virtual community, in contrast to the first generation of Web 1.0-era websites where people were limited to the passive viewing of content. As well, in contrast to Web 1.0-era websites, in which the text was often unlinked, users of Web 2.0 websites can often "click" on words in the text to access additional content on the website or be linked to an external website. And also as the addition Web 2.0 makes learning a lot easier today and technology help us gain more experiences and knowledge. It also results indicate that the major benefits of using Web 2.0 technologies in teaching include interaction, communication and collaboration, knowledge creation, ease of use and flexibility, and writing and technology skills.

    ISTE Learning Standards

    ISTE Standards for Students

    • What are the ISTE Standards that you possess? What are your personal experiences that portrays such standards?

The ISTE standards that I possess are being innovative, globally competitive and transformative. I portray such standards during major subjects, i get to show of my skills and also when reporting in class. I use such standards with the thoughtful integration of Educational Technology. And also Creative Communicator. Having the ability communicate clearly and express themselves creatively for a variety of purposes using the platforms, tools, styles, formats and digital media appropriate for your goals. Using this standard especially when you’re having an oral reporting in class is very functional for me. You are going to select a digital tool which is appropriate for your topic and would improve your way of publishing or presenting the content that customizes your message and medium for your intended audiences. Digital Citizen is another standard that I possess. You are engaging in positive, safe, legal and ethical behavior when using technology, including social interactions online or when using networked devices. Everytime I engaged myself in social media especially in facebook, I always make it sure that my post are appropriate and in ways that are safe, legal and ethical. “Always think before you click”.

    • As a future teacher in what ways can you develop these standards among your students?

As a future innovative educator, i can say that i will be able to use this standards among my students using a student centered approach in learning, To prepare my students with the modern technology of standard learning. Because ISTE is a connected learning in the connected world, students proces of learning is through discovery and exploration. And one way to develop ISTE standards among my students is to let theme engage in various activities that involves the use of digital tools. Conducting collaborative activities locally and globally helps broaden students’ perspectives and enrich their learning by working effectively and efficiently in teams. Expose them to social interconnected world wherein they could express their thoughts and ideas from the topics that you have discussed in the classroom. Example for this is by letting them make their own blog. The students should also be prepared to thrive in a constantly evolving technological landscape.

    21st-Century Skills

How Do You Define 21st-Century Skills?

Twenty-first-century learning means that students master content while producing, synthesizing, and evaluating information from a wide variety of subjects and sources with an understanding of and respect for diverse cultures. Students demonstrate the three Rs, but also the three Cs: creativity, communication, and collaboration. They demonstrate digital literacy as well as civic responsibility. Virtual tools and open-source software create border less learning territories for students of all ages, anytime and anywhere.(Barnett Berry)

    •  What are the 21st century skills that you need to develop?
    •  How are you going to develop these skills?
     Leadership and Responsibility Skills

    Productivity and Accountability Skills

    Creativity and Innovation Skills

As a future teacher in 21st Century Skills I need to develop this three learning to help my students achieve the best skills they can get. And as a part of their journey to 21st Century I as their future teacher need to push and help them develop this particular skills Leadership and Responsibility, Productivity and Accountability and most especially the Creativity and Innovation Skills. As I engage students in new, more relevant ways, while calling for innovative approaches to develop necessary creativity and innovation skills. Seeking to improve student performance on standardized performance while increasing student learning. For today's students to succeed tomorrow, they need a comprehensive education that includes responsibility and leadership that we taught them . We must not forget that as we set new learning priorities for our students.

Developing this skills help students to understand more about how important this skills in their lives and how this skills help them in their future. This also help them develop social skills or interacting with new people around them. Develop confidence if you are applying for a new job for example, you would be wise to prepare for the interview. Plan what you would want to say in the interview and think about some of the questions that you may be asked.  Practice your answers with friends or colleagues and gain their feedback.
